The May issue of Chronicles arrived with my review of Print Is Dead by Jeff Gomez. Gomez is a digital fanatic who thinks all existence should be mediated by a computer or some sort of electronic gadget, or perhaps I exaggerate. Unfortunately for him the best way to explore complex ideas is via the venerable, low tech contraption called the book.

I enjoy blogs and other aspects of the Web, but with a book or a magazine I can actually concentrate on one thing for a short period of time which does a great deal to restore my sanity.
