"And pray, what are you going to replace the Fed with?"

This is such a ridiculous question.

The fed is a price fixing operation. That is, it fixes the price of credit. And, being run by govenment, it's management incomptant and run for the benefit of the rich and powerful.

You would abolish it, and 'replace' it with a market based system where the supply of money is fixed, and the supply and demand for credit is determined by the market.

And pray, what are you going to replace the Fed with? And I am asking that question as if you had the means and the will to do so!

I can't think of any other sense in which I'd like to act in the spirit of Andrew Jackson, but I can't think of a valid argument in favor of the Fed. Perhaps the absence of such an argument explains why they want to keep its books secret.
