		<description>Sorry.  I forgot to clarify this in this and earlier posts.  It&#039;s an old shorthand from Sam Francis, meaning Middle American Radical.  It&#039;s a bit of an obscure reference if you haven&#039;t read Francis, but basically a a &quot;MAR&quot; is a working or middle-class person, typically white, who does not see the current establishment serving any of his interests, whether cultural or economic, and is not interested so much in shrinking the state as he is in getting his government to work for his interests instead of against them.</description>
