		<description>When it comes to the Hummer, I think DeBord and Fred Hiatt (whoever he is) and the Washington Post are far behind the American people. They understand that drivers of Hummers want to be untouchable, invulnerable -- it is the mechanical version of American exceptionalism. But that Bushian fantasy is fast fading into irrelevance, buried by massive gas bills. This much I know for sure: in screenplays, anyone seen driving a Hummer will inevitably be unmasked as a villain in the end. That can&#039;t be good for the brand.</description>
