For the most part, his audience will rally to him even more strongly if he were attacked in those terms, and especially if it came from someone who has also been critical of Palin. That's the predicament--the people who are most likely to criticize Limbaugh are the people his audience is probably least inclined to follow. I believe his audience has declined from what it was back in the '90s; I hope that Obama's administration does not provide him with a new boost.
