The Self-Parody Never Ends

Over at the Commentary blog, Max Boot removes any remaining doubt of the maxim that terrorists are sane, rational people unlike the editors of Commentary magazine by arguing with a strait face that we ought to go to war with North Korea and Iran over the arrest of Americans.

And to think I thought such ideas were the province of the loony liberals . . .

One Response to “The Self-Parody Never Ends”

  1. I think he was calling for stronger words of support from the people at the State Department for our citizens abroad. It’s “loony” to just bend over and take that kind of thing from thugocrats like Kim Jong Il- there’s a difference between speaking loudly and carrying a stick that may or may not have bad intelligence concerning wmds in certain rogue states in Arabia, and speaking firmly and carrying an actual big stick, to paraphrase Mr. Roosevelt. Calling for strong words and for an End of Days showdown with Iran and North Korea are two different things, and I wouldn’t say that Max is doing that quite yet.
