As I get increasingly self-conscious about being so drawn to the Commentary blog, I’ve been balancing it off by mozying over to Daily Kos.  It’s bad.  Moulitsas himself, who once spoke earnestly of an alternative right realignment with the Democrats, is now jumping up and down about the latest lone nut in Pennsylvania being part of the “right-wing-extremist violence that the Department of Homeland Security warned about.” Yikes.  And then in the next breath he manages to dust off the old chestnut of the “war on science”.  And to think Moulitsas likely remains the most pragmatic of the bunch!
